People in charge of the Olympics have talked about their plans for how they will use AI in sports. People, companies, and industries are all trying to adapt and change with artificial intelligence.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) spoke about how they plan to use AI. Some of the ways they might use it are to find talented players, make games more fair by improving the way they are judged, and make training more individualized.

President of the IOC Thomas Bach said, “Today we are taking another step to make sure that the Olympic Games are unique and that sports are important.” To do this, we need to be change agents. He went on, “We are determined to use AI’s huge potential in a smart way.”

Their plan also calls for using technology to keep athletes safe from abuse online and to help broadcasters make the Olympics better for people watching at home.

The people in charge of planning the Paris games, which will happen in a few months, have gotten some negative feedback about their plans to use AI. One way they plan to use this is to point out possible security risks. People are against this technology because they think it might invade their privacy, even if they aren’t using smart face recognition.

“We have seen that the French government and the authorities are working very hard to make sure Paris is safe in a lot of different ways.” “That’s why we all trust the French government,” Bach said.

Lots of people have said that it will take some time to get good at these tools, but like anything else, they will be something extra that everyone can use during the games to make the experience better.
