Donald Trump has just raised a lot of money for his new campaign in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. This area has spoken out against the city’s rising crime rate and lack of police support, using Trump’s more extreme language to do so.
Steven Cheung, the communications head for the Trump campaign, talked about their plans for the campaigns. “Our digital online fundraising keeps going through the roof, and so do the investments of our major donors. Democrats are scared of how well President Trump can raise money.” We are not only getting the money we need, but we are also using strategic tools that will help the Republicans win and get President Trump back to the White House, he said.
In this Atlanta area, Trump recently went to a fundraiser with a lot of other politicians and business people. Former President Donald Trump was able to raise more than $15 million at this event.
The fundraiser happened at the same time that Trump was pushing for law and order in American towns and saying that if he wins, he would pay police officers back. Many cities have used this as a way to raise money for Trump, especially the people of Buckhead, who have had to deal with rising crime in a district where the typical household income is $109,774.
People in this part of Atlanta wanted to break away from the city of Atlanta in 2021 because of crime and other problems. Violent crimes like murder and theft were getting worse, and are now a normal problem in the city. The city said it was clear that the cops don’t want to work for a city that doesn’t back them up, which is why they want to leave.
Trump had talked about how bad crime is and how the cops are treated in many cities before, trying to connect with Republicans. With his current campaign, Trump has talked a lot about crime and how he wants to help towns deal with it.
“We will very importantly restore law and order to our country, and I’m going to indemnify all police officers and law enforcement officials throughout the United States to protect them from being destroyed by the radical left for taking strong actions on crime,” Trump added.
