Delays with Boeing 737 Planes?

It’s said that Boeing has found more problems with their Boeing 737 planes. This time, it’s delaying supplies because holes were drilled wrong. The supplier, Spirit AeroSystems, found that two holes were drilled wrong, and they will have to fix 50 planes that haven’t been shipped yet.

Shares of Boeing have dropped a lot since problems were found with their planes recently. The first time this happened, a door plug flew out of an airplane in the middle of the trip and landed 16,000 feet below. This led to a look into the place to see if there were any other issues.

Then, other problems with Boeing planes were found, which caused huge delays at some airports and grounded planes for days while investigations and fixes were done. The Boeing 737 planes had problems before that, but Boeing was still trying to make more of them.

Two accidents with the Boeing 737 model caused it to be grounded for about two years. In October 2018, the Boeing 737 MAX 8, a brand-new plane, crashed, killing all 189 people on board. In March 2019, another Boeing 737 MAX 8 plane crashed. Because of this, the company had to take all of its Boeing 737 MAX 8 planes off the ground. A lot of people are worried about the Boeing 737’s automatic flying feature, which could be the cause of these problems.

That Boeing should “look over their manufacturing processes so there are no corners cut,” said Tim Clark, CEO of Emirates Airlines.

Continuing, he said that they should put output first and not ask, “What is the return on investment?” What’s the end result? What is the monthly free cash flow? How much is it worth to shareholders? Why do you want to buy this share? Tell me about my bonus. In fact, that will happen if you do it right from the start.
