NFL Hall of Famer Terell Owens reportedly punched and dropped a heckler outside a Los Angeles CVS on Saturday evening.

According to TMZ Sports, Owens was approached by a 49ers fan inside the CVS in Inglewood, and the two sparked up a conversation.

That’s when a man reportedly started harassing the fan and the legendary wide receiver on the sidewalk, with the latter trying to make peace.

A TMZ video showed the aggressor throwing the first punch, but Owens easily knocked him to the ground. Police were reportedly not called to the scene, and the Pro Bowler left the scene in his car.

Owens, 48, spent eight seasons playing in the Bay Area. He was also involved in an incident earlier this year when a Florida woman was charged with providing false information to police after accusing Owens of harassing her.

In related news, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault after shoving a cameraman last month.

The incident occurred on Oct. 10 when Adams pushed the cameraman to the ground on the way to the locker room after his team lost, 30-29, to the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Municipal Court issued a citation on Wednesday stating that Adams “did, by an intentional, overt act, inflict bodily injury or cause an unlawful offensive contact upon [the victim] by pushing [him] to the ground using two hands causing whiplash and head ache. Possible minor concussion.”

NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero has since said that the league is investigating Adams’ actions.

The law firm representing the man who was pushed has released a statement on his behalf, saying: “What happened was egregiously unsportsmanlike and an act of violence that should not be excused by the NFL.”

Following the incident, Adams tweeted an apology, saying: “Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”
