Jets give epic response to Tom Brady’s official retirement

New York Jets expressed their reaction over Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady’s official retirement after leaving the AFC East in 2020 through a hilarious response to Brady’s official announcement on Tuesday. 

“This better be real,” the Jet’s official Twitter account wrote in response to Saturday’s news about the football superstar’s retirement.

ESPN and NFL Network reports about Brady’s retirement flooded the social media over the weekend, as sports enthusiasts, fans, and the entirety of the sports world giving thanks for the quarterback and congratulating him for having a plausible and legendary career in his sports field. 

There are still conflicting reports about the retirement citing Brady’s appearance on the “Let’s Go!” podcast last Monday wherein he said that he was still “still going through the process.” 

After the news is confirmed, Jets immediately congratulated Brady on Twitter as wrote: 

“But seriously, congrats on a first-ballot, Hall of Fame career, @TomBrady.  

We may not miss seeing you on the field, but the entire football world will.”

Brady will end his football career as center with an impressive record of 30-7 with a total of 9,059 passing yards for 60 touchdowns.
