There are two things that can be true simultaneously and in the case of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. 1) Putin doesn’t have a just casus belli to wage war on Ukraine. 2) The US shouldn’t get militarily involved.
He shouldn’t have invaded Ukraine, even though it was part of Russia in the past. This isn’t Saddam’s invading Kuwait or any other case of a tinpot dictator picking on a smaller country, a case in which the US could get involved without too much loss.
This is a war in which one side is a powerful power and has enough thermonuclear weaponry to turn all our major cities into glass. Fighting Russia would not only be costly in blood but also unaffordable in dollars. It would cause a global catastrophe like none the world has seen in a while.
But fighting Russia is precisely what the unhinged elites want.
Hillary and Soros are pushing for the US to take escalatory actions. GOP Senator Roger Wicker is proposing the radical step to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine. This would require shooting down Russian aircraft. It’s obvious that the same elites who spent years eating deplorables have no hesitation about sending them off to die in Donetsk’s frozen mud.

We were led by the elites into war with Iraq. It was a disaster. After 20 years, they sent us to Afghanistan to create a modern, woke democracy. We were expelled from the country in what can only have been described as a humiliating defeat. They want us to go to war with Russia in winter, a modern military force. What could go wrong?
They also didn’t have the courage to defend law-abiding citizens at home. Instead, they allowed thugs to burn your business and terrorize your town, so they wouldn’t be viewed as “racists”. Why should you die for the honor of such cowardly elites abroad?
Walsh, Darryle Cooper, Scott Greer, and all the others make a compelling point; there’s no reason for you to trust the regime and/or die in Ukraine.
