The House Oversight Committee has issued several subpoenas to Hunter Biden and his business associates as part of its investigation into the Biden family’s shady business dealings.

Republican Reps. James Comer of Kentucky and Jim Jordan of Ohio subpoenaed art dealer George Bergès, art patron Elizabeth Naftali, and Hunter’s business partners Eric Schwerin and Mervyn Yan to testify before Congress.

The subpoenas are part of the committee’s investigation into the high-priced sales of Hunter’s artwork. Comer claims that despite the committee’s repeated requests for Bergès to participate in interviews, he has not responded.

“Given the evidence the Committees have uncovered about how Hunter Biden and other Biden family members have attempted to conceal the source of the money they received from abroad, it is particularly critical for the Committees to understand the details regarding the sale of Hunter Biden’s artwork by your client’s gallery,” Comer and Jim Jordan wrote to a lawyer for Bergès.

“The Committee will also seek information about any differences between the sale of Hunter Biden’s artwork and the sale of other artwork by your client’s gallery,” the letter continued.

Naftali, a major Democrat supporter who paid Hunter for a very expensive piece of artwork, was recently appointed by President Joe Biden to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. She is scheduled to testify before lawmakers on December 1.

Hunter’s business partners Yan and Schwerin have also asked to testify before Congress in December.

“Mr. Schwerin worked closely with the Biden family members, Biden associates, and Biden corporate entities that the Committees have identified as transferring millions of dollars to the Bidens, often from foreign sources,” Comer and Jordan said.

This comes after the committee also requested Hunter’s uncle, James Biden, and their business associate, Rob Walker, to testify for allegedly receiving dirty money from China.

Financial records recently obtained by the committee earlier this year revealed that several members of the Biden family, including Hallie and Sara, received more than $1 million in payments from accounts related to Walker.

Hallie paid $25,000 from Walker’s account, Robinson Walker LLC, in March 2017, according to the documents.
