China’s Sinister Plan For America Revealed

Foreign expert warns that the U.S. is fueling China’s plan to “kill Americans” ahead of President Joe Biden’s one-on-one meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

During an interview on Fox News’ “Mornings with Maria,” Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang said that the gathering between the two leaders shouldn’t be happening in the first place.

“The reality is, whether we have established mechanisms of communication or not, China talks to us when it wants to talk, despite established channels, and it doesn’t talk when it doesn’t want to talk,” Chang said.

“And clearly, we are in a case right now where we are fueling their military buildup, which is configured to kill Americans,” he continued. “This is just morally and strategically wrong.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has downplayed the national concerns and instead characterized the meeting as a space for “intense diplomacy” and “tough conversation.”

“That’s what the President is going to be doing and having, you know, a tough conversation but important conversation,” Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing late last month. “I’m not going to get into any kind of, you know, decisions made on this.  This is going to be about the diplomatic conversations.”

But Chang argued for a total decoupling from China, saying that the country is only open to talks because its “economy is not growing at the pace it has over decades.”

“Talking about arms control with China in this theoretical sense is not bad. But the point is, you have to have an agreement that is verifiable,” he noted. “China has always refused to talk about the size of its arsenal, and an unverifiable agreement, which the arms control community obviously would love, is not in the best interests of the United States or the international community.”

The policy expert went on to describe Biden’s planned meeting as “just insane,” claiming that the administration is not prepared to face the “really horrible reality” of China’s geopolitics.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will be one of the first White House officials to visit China. She will meet with the country’s vice premier ahead of the presidential gathering after recently suggesting there is a way for America and China to work and compete with one another.
